EOP is giving me a home away from home. EOP has given me many opportunities to grow in my academic and personal life. I am grateful that the program has given me the position to be their Student Ambassador to develop my professional and social skills. The program has guided me to find my purpose in life and set professional goals.

EOP has given me a place where I feel welcomed and know that there are others just like me. I have taken a leadership role in being the President of the EOP Student Union in order to help serve and develop the community to help student’s needs. Without the help of EOP, I know that I would have been another statistic. EOP has given me the confidence to pursue graduate school to continue my education. With the help of EOP I can say this degree is not just for me, but for those before me (my parents/ancestors) and those after me (my children).

I hope that future generations know that EOP exists and is here for them to excel but be happy too. We all have our own goals that define greatness but we all just try to strive for happiness and EOP has helped me find that. I am proud to be EOP.
